We took a thermos full of tea and brought some sheets to spread under the trees. It was hard to find a bus. After changing two buses, we finally reached the river bank. It was a beautiful scene, and the weather was calm. There were green trees everywhere. Some fishermen were busy fishing.
We played in the shade of the trees. Later, we had lunch. Everyone took a nap in the shadow of the trees. We were busy playing. Some women were reading books.
In the afternoon, it rained. We had the afternoon tea that we brought along with some snacks specially prepared for the trip. When it got dark, we got on a bus and reached home.

Last spring, my family decided to go to a nearby park for a picnic. We were very excited about the picnic. We spent the whole day planning what we would do there and what we would eat.
The next day, after packing our things, we left our home in the morning. The picnic spot was about 2 hours from our house. We had packed tasty food that my mother had prepared. We sang songs in the car on the way to the picnic.

The memories I made at the family picnic are some moments I will remember for the rest of my life. The picnic not only gave me a break from daily life but also made me happy and allowed me to spend a happy time with my family. I hope we plan more picnics in the future.

My school organized a picnic on Children’s Day. We went to a resort. It had swings and a lot of plants. We went there by bus. When we reached there, they gave us hot tomato soup. After that, we walked around the resort that was full of greenery. I took photos with my friends and teachers.
